Aright so I've been working with RAW:Natural Born Artist in Boston and so far so good! I think one of the things I like the best is that I get to set up my artwork with my own lighting and my own prices. I'm able to frame/mat my artwork how I deem appropriately (and trust me, I'm using some bright mats!). Its given me a chance to really work out some common problems galleries face and thus given me some real world experience. I do suggest checking out RAW. The other day an art gallery called me and asked if I could be in their upcoming show. Actually its more like a nonprofit artist community. Its all quite exciting and nerve wrecking at the same time! Right now I'm trying to decide which pieces to bring, they prefer my paintings, and how much to charge for them if I wanna charge at all.
